Counting Crows is coming off the success of their most current album Films About Ghosts, their first-ever "Best Of" collection. The Geffen Records album features songs from every phase of Counting Crow's ten-year recording career.
Over the last few years, Counting Crows have toured the world, breaking new markets and attendance records alike. Hard Candy, their most recent studio album, has sold over 1.3 million worldwide. The band's cover of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" was a Top 10 hit earlier this year. Counting Crows debuted in 1993 with August and Everything After. Subsequent albums include Recovering the Satellites (1996); Across A Wire: Live in NY (1998); and This Desert Life (1999). Altogether, Counting Crows has sold more than 18 million albums worldwide.
