| All right everyone here is your review of a film called United 93. Starring no one famous.
Does this film really need an explination? This is what many experts believe could have been one scenario of what occurred on United Airlines flight #93 on September 11th 2001. And why the plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.
One question before we get into dissecting this piece of cinema. Is this movie coming out too soon?
In terms of a film this one was done with taste, very little Hollywood glitz, and I applaud that fact that we don't see Kirt Russel and Sylvester Stallones face on the big screen. But who in the hell wants to pay $10 to relive what happened on 9/11? Why would you want to see it?
In defense of this movie they do show a side to the 9/11 tragedy that many people are unaware of. What the FAA and the military were doing when this country was under attack. The complete melt down of the people that were supposed to be defending this country, the chaos the lack of preperation. Seeing the movie for that aspect is actually super interesting.
To sum it all up let me just say this:
It is this critics opinion that this movie came out way to soon. It is important to never forget what happened, but too many people died and there still hasn't been enough time to heal. There is a gaping hole in New York City that is still years away from being completed. They at least should have waited for the new Trade centers to have been built.
With that being said, I give this movie 3 Di Nardos
