FESTIVAL & AWARD CEREMONY
Alice’s 3-Minute Film Festival culminates with a short award ceremony. If you attend the Film Festival, you get to watch the nominated films and then find out in the same night who receives the Best in category. Over the years, the films are judged ‘live’ by an esteemed jury of professionals from Pixar Animation Studio’s, DreamWorks LLC, The San Francisco International Film Festival, Industrial Light and Magic, Bay Area Video Coalition, The Film Arts Foundations and others.

QANTAS AIRWAYS BEST OVERALL SHORT FILM AWARD
Alice's 3- Minute Film Festival is proud to announce that Qantas Airways is bringing back the exclusive Award for Best Overall Short Film. This year at the 2008 Alice 3-Minute Short Film Festival, one of the nominated film recipients will receive the Qantas Airways Prize for Best Overall Short Film Award. The winner in this prestigious category will receive two (2) roundtrip economy tickets to Sydney, Australia valued at $6000 to attend the 2009 TropFest, the Largest Short Film Festival in the world.
Qantas is the official airline for Alice's 3-Minute Film Festival, supporting the art of filmmaking in San Francisco and Sydney. Qantas now flies non-stop from San Francisco to Sydney.
